I've decided to set myself a little challenge for the month of February. The challenge is to start at least one topic a day in the forums. I'm going to try and spread the topics out across different sections. So not just general Ilkley chat, but starting topics about other local towns, local business, local sport, etc. 

Hopefully the extra activity will inspire some regular visitors to start posting. If you want to join me in the challenge then that would be great. Or maybe you could just submit one post a day? It will be great for you post count and karma ;)

I made just one new year's resolution this year and it's to do more on ilkley-more.com. So I've been doing some stuff behind the scenes and soon there will be more on the front end side too. Not just new features but improvement to all aspects of the site. I've also made a start on getting the site more exposure. First job is to get im.com back on the first page of Google.

This blog will be more about what I'm up to with the site, highlighting area's of the site people might not know about, monthly review of how the site has been doing and what's new. Stuff like that. I also want to use the blog to get more feedback on what you the user would like to see. Not just features but how the site works, layout, content and even promotion of the site.
