I think your mixing your applications, this one is for a licence, the A3 planning permission is as existing unless they wanted to upgrade to A4 which would warrant a change of use application.

so presumably the existing A3 planning permission transfers to the new owners. If it is going to be run more as an A4 bar we do not have an oppotunity to comment until after the event - can that be right!

A little dickie bird tells me that PS is in debt up to his proverbial eyeballs and is currently being chased by debt collectors!! (Allegedly!)
It is said that he owes his former employer thousands and his landlord even more!! (Allegedly!)
May be a useful but of info for anyone wanting to usurp his chances of getting his name on any licence perhaps?

PS is a nice chap and I wish him well as long as it does'nt turn into another Yard.
The debt collectors are'nt looking too hard - I could make a pretty good guess where he is every day.

Don't know the man personally DB.
There's many a 'nice' thief out there who will smile widely as they take money out of your wallet!

In response to this post, I feel that someone might have something against this person.

It seems to me that regardless of what this person has "allegedly" done, it shouldn't be of anyone else's business.

I hope that these two people are successful and that their business blossoms in these bad times.

Welcome to IM Hordehammer!

As I stated before, I don't know the man personally and have no view on his business accumen or his personal appeal to others and so therefore have nothing against this person.
However I have to differ in my viewpoint with you that his 'alleged' fraudulent behaviour is most definately everyones business. If he is to apply for public licence of any kind, transparancy is paramount!
Incidentally, my information is shall we say 'from the horses', so I can be clear that it is pretty darned accurate.

Are you in some way connected to said business perhaps??

In reply to that last comment by Hoveboy, no I'm not involved with the business by any means, to comment on here if I was involved would be my own undoing.

However, I will say that I do know the person in question personally, and (forgive me if I sound rude) take the first comment on the post I commented on as a slight insult.

I have found out that from past experience, comments like such that have been previously made can and have ended up with people getting into trouble, obviously I'm not meaning by what you and me are talking about But with regards to PS.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from?

Oh and by the way, sorry for not mentioning it earlier, thank you for your welcome

I've slagged off a few people in my time on here, but the above post be Hoveboy is below the belt and very offensive.

Anyone might hit the bottom in these times of recession and to name and shame anyone with debt problems on here is utterly irresponsible.

Apart from David woolly.

Can we all play nicely please?

I can see the point that Hoveboy is making and why, i'm not sure it deserves such a harsh response.

Don't you find the problem with the written word such as texts and emails and the such is that they do not deliver the tone in which they are meant?

This can result in misunderstandings etc. I may be wrong but i think Hoveboy is trying to share relevant info rather than gossip. I accept there is a fine line between the two, and when it is about a friend or acquaintance the worst interpretation is put on it.

We are a a friendly lot on here, lets not fall out.

Thanks Cazza

You are spot on with your interpretation of my posts.

I was simply sharing information that I thought relevant to the thread and was passed on just as I received it.
My question to HH regarding association with said business was meant completely in jest, as have many other IM members asked the same of brand new posters in the past! Nothing more sinister than that.

As I have clarified on two previous occasions, I do not know and have never met this person. I have no agenda whatsoever in sharing this information with the group. I am not interested if he has debt problems or otherwise and was also not aware of that information.
I now realise that I wrote the first half of the first sentence in my original post in error. The terminology I used was incorrect and for that I apologise. It has obviously cast the wrong impression

I am beginning to wish I hadn't even bothered TBH as I seems to have upset things

McNab, I cannot understand why you would find my post offensive. However if I have offended anyone whatsoever, then I whole heartedly apologise and will no longer enter into any further discussion regarding this matter.

Woz, if you feel that the information posted in any way breaks the rules of IM, please remove said posts. I will also take any reprimand that comes my way as a result.

Sorry to all

Let's all move on. Does anybody know if the flats above The Grove are occupied still or are they part of the place

Hey ho, one goes off line for a couple of days and the whole world is at logger heads. Now if I understand the former from the latter to which cazza so eloquaintly replied, it would appear one is out of sorts but in at the same time.

Irrespective of who knows who and for why, knowing that there may or may not be something which may or may not be of interest to at least 20% of us, is ideal if one understands what one is talking about.

There's something about reading too much legal jargon which dulls the brain. I'll leave re typing old wills to those who think they understand what it all means.

For me I'll get back to the real world and all within.

Happy Yorkshire Day folks.
