I am sure someone could organise a My first computer love event for the Uncut Fringe. A few new computers that actually work, set up to play Pong, or that one where you shot asteroids, and a slide presentation of steam powered compuers, like what the last two posts are, and you'd have an event with national appeal. Add a few vontage computers and a`Sinclair C5 and it would bring men of a certain age from across the globe. it could be the new London-Brighton run.

Just got back from a trip to Leeds to see The Bacchea.

I had to leave before the end, due to the half hour walk to Armley for the last bus to Bradford, but the little I saw of the band looked and sounded the business. I will go well out of my way to see them again.

They are playing Ilkley bandstand on Saturday 8th now, not the 7th as it says above, at 20.00.
